- In order to get the money, the Beneficiary should only submit their passport to a PrivatBank employee and indicate the transfer control number.

Transfers exceeding EUR 1,000

- In order to make a transfer of more than EUR 1,000, the sender should submit the following documents to a PrivatBank employee:

1. Residents of Cyprus – citizens of countries outside the EU:

- passport (not a copy, original document);
- proof of residence permit in Cyprus (such as a utility or phone bill not older than 6 months) (not a copy, original document);
- temporary residence permit in the country (the so-called Pink Slip, which can be attached to a page of the passport),
- Alien Book.

2. Residents of Cyprus – EU citizens:
- passport (not a copy, original document);
- proof of residence in Cyprus (such as a utility or phone bill not older than 6 months; not a copy, original document);
- registration certificate for EU nationals (Yellow Slip).

3. Non-residents of Cyprus:
- passport (not a copy, original document);
- proof of residence in the country of permanent residence (for example, a utility or phone bill not older than 6 months) with the translation of all documents into Greek or English languages (not a copy, original document).

4. Citizens of Cyprus:
- passport (not a copy, original document);
- proof of residence in Cyprus (such as a utility or phone bill not older than 6 months; not a copy, original document).


Please note!


- If at least one of the requested documents on the list is missing, the bank will be forced to refuse service.
- The same client can send not more than 3,000 euros per transfer through the PrivatMoney system. The number of such transfers is not limited.
- After 30 days, an unclaimed money transfer is automatically canceled and the money is returned to the sender.
- In case of return, the transfer commission is kept by the bank.

To receive money in PrivatBank (Cyprus), it is important to know the following:
- in order to receive money transfers, the recipient specified in the money transfer form must be personally present at the bank;
- international passport (or civil identity cards for citizens of Cyprus; not a copy, original document) should be submitted to a PrivatBank employee in order to receive the money transfer;
- The amount of one transfer per customer cannot exceed the equivalent of EUR 3,000  number of transfers is not limited). If the amount of the transfer exceeds the limit specified above, the transfer will not be paid and will be returned to the sender.
