Who can become the client of PrivatBank
Cyprus?
PrivatBank Cyprus provides services to:
- citizens of any countries, except for countries with imposed international sanctions;
- the residents of Ukraine who obtained individual licenses of the National Bank of Ukraine to open accounts at PrivatBank Cyprus;
- the residents of Ukraine who obtained a temporary residence permit or a work permit in Cyprus, in currencies other than hryvnias.
Your cooperation with the bank begins from opening a current account which enables you to transfer and receive funds, obtain payment cards, and receive other banking services.

All private individuals should be personally present at the Bank to open a current
account. They should submit the following list of documents, depending on their citizenship and residence status:
1. Cyprus residents – citizens of EU non-member countries:
- passport (not a copy);- document confirming residence in Cyprus (for instance, a utility bill or phone bill issued within the last 6 months) (not a copy);
- an immigration office stay/residence permit in the country (the so-called Pink Slip, can be sticked on a page of the passport);
- Alien Book.
2. Cyprus residents – EU citizens:
- passport (not a copy);- document confirming residence in Cyprus (for instance, a utility bill or phone bill issued within the last 6 months) (not a copy);
- registration in the immigration office (the so-called Yellow Slip).
3. Cyprus non-residents:
- passport (not a copy);
- document confirming his/her address in the country of his/her permanent residence (for instance, a utility bill or phone bill issued within the last 6 months), the document must be translated into Greek or English (not a copy).
4. Cyprus residents:
- passport (not a copy);
- document confirming residence in Cyprus (for instance, a utility bill issued within the last 6 months).
The application on opening a current account, the client questionnaire and a signature card shall be filled in at the Bank.
